Orugbo Congratulates Oborevwori Over Poll Victory.

A prominent leader of PDP in Delta State, Former Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and Former Special Assistant to the National Chairman of PDP,
Chief (Hon.) Oghene-aga Andrew Orugbo, the Udugba of Udu Kingdom and the Omamowhoro of Okpe Kingdoms respectively has congratulated Delta State Governor Elect, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his election victory in the just concluded Gubernatorial polls.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Sheriff Oborevwori winner of the election having pulled 360,234 votes against his closest rival, APC’s Ovie Omo-Agege who scored 240,229 votes.
While thanking Deltans for voting for Oborevwori in the just concluded polls, the former Hon.Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Former Hon.Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Delta revealed that Oborevwori’s mission is to run an open, responsive government that meets the needs and aspirations of Deltans through infrastructure development, growth in human capital and improved social harmony. Orugbo who called on other co- constants to work in synergy with the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom revealed that Oborevwori will be governor of all the people of the state because he got votes from across the divides.
It’s clear from his vision, mission statement and the MO.R.E agenda cum social contract with Deltans that our excessive local content Governor Elect who will consolidate on the developmental strides of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is fully prepared for the job, And there is no gainsaying the fact that Oborevwori is competent, experienced and more accessible to the people judging from his excellent track records as the longest serving Speaker, Orugbo added.
