Obar Voke Backs Ashaka 2027 Bid, Extends Educational Support To Three Schools In Ozoro

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Hon. Obar Voke, has extended educational support to three schools in Ozoro, Isoko North Constituency 1, in support of his boss and political associate, Engr. Maro Orobosa Ashaka, APC candidate Isoko North Constituency 1 ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The initiative was aimed at supporting students and teachers, encouraging academic excellence and making a positive impact on the educational development of the constituency.

The beneficiary schools are Bovi Primary and Secondary School, Ozoro; Olordo Primary School, Ozoro; and Egburie Primary School, Ozoro.

During the programme, some students who answered questions correctly were rewarded with tablets, while books, school bags and pens were also presented to students to support their academic activities.

Teachers were equally remembered, as umbrellas were presented to them, particularly in view of the ongoing rainy season.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Obar Voke explained that the initiative was not simply about distributing items but also about engaging the students and creating an opportunity for them to learn.

He noted that some of the students did not know the name of their Governor before the interaction, but many of them were able to learn new things during the programme.
According to him, “Not all the students even know the name of their Governor, but at least many learned some things today. We gave out books. Aside from that, we gave teachers umbrellas. This is the rainy season. We also gave bags and pens. Those are the items we gave.”

Voke gave God the glory for making the initiative possible, stressing that the most important achievement was the opportunity to make a difference and add value to the lives of the students and teachers.
