Grassroots Political Movement has declared their total support in taking the constituency to a greater height***

The nonpartisan pressure group that has members across Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, popularly known as GPM (grassroots political movement) on Monday 19, September 2022. welcomed the ughelli north constituency ll people’s democratic party (PDP) candidate, Hon Onos Agofure to the group secretariat.

In his welcome address, the group national coordinator Comr. Ochuko Erhiakpore expressed confidence and total support for the young legislator, he noted that the group is politically supporting him basically on his credibility, transparency, and accessibility in the last years.
He added that Hon. Onoriode Agofure’s positive impact on society and his giant strides of achievements in infrastructural development and vast empowerment programs as the ughelli north council deputy speaker of the 6th and 7th assembly is a record that has stood the test of time.

Also the secretary of the group, Mrs. Betty lauded Hon. Onoriode Agofure landmark achievement and plead with him to consider their three points agenda which comprises empowerment, appointment, and employment when elected as member of Delta State House of Assembly come 2023 Ughelli North Constituency II

The GPM leader later gave a strategic charge to his members to go out and harvest votes from the nooks and crannies of the constituency for the accomplishment of Hon. Agofure’s victory in the forthcoming general election.

In his response Hon. onoriode Agofure who could not hide his heartfelt gratitude towards the warm reception accorded him and his entourage, thanked the leadership and members of the group for the conference on him and promise not to disappoint them.
He noted that the passion for the objective and aim which has kept GPM growing over the years should be maintained especially as the 2023 general Elections get closer.

He assured GPM of his continued support, saying the project agofure DTHA 2023, is for all Ughelli North people.
