ONYEME CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR ATIKU-OKOWA TICKET, SAYS SHERIFF REMAINS DELTA PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE
The Delta State Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sir Monday Onyeme has called on Ndokwa Sons and daughters as well as Deltans in general to throw their weight behind the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Gov Ifeanyi Okowa in the forthcoming Presidential Election.
Speaking today 24/8/22 in his country home in Ibabu, Onicha-Ukwuani community in Ndokwa West LGA, during an enlarged meeting with Members of Ndokwa Core Group, Onyeme highlighted the numerous benefits Deltans stands to gain with Gov Okowa’s emergence as Vice President of the country Nigeria.
While calling for massive support for all the PDP Candidates, he thanked Party Chieftains and faithfuls for their support and prayers throughout the Primary Election, which he said was very peaceful, free and fair
He thanked Gov Okowa, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the PDP for his support, which led to his emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate, adding that as a people we must also be grateful to the Governorship candidate of our party, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for choosing/accepting me as his running mate.
According to Onyeme, since 1999 no Deltan has been the Vice President of this Country and by the Special grace of God, our Governor Sen Ifeanyi Okowa has been nominated as the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate, hence, we must vote massively for the People’s Democratic Party in other for us as a People to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
“Everywhere you go, preach Atiku/Okowa, Preach Sheriff/Onyeme, Preach Hon Ned Nwoko, Hon Nnamdi Ezechi, Hon Charles Emetulu, Hon Ogbuefi Chukwudi Dafe, Prince Emeka Osamuta and all other PDP Candidates” Onyeme enthused.
He expressed confidence that Ndokwa Sons and daughters will hold key Positions in the next administration adding that the benefits of the work done in Ndokwa Nation led to his nomination as the Delta State PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate.
In the same breath, the Delta PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate Sir Monday Onyeme maintained that Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori remains the Delta State Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, he urged members of the Ndokwa Core Group and Party faithfuls not to be distracted by the various propaganda.
He admonished them to remain unshakeable and not to be distracted noting that the truth will always prevail, “they said Sheriff had no certificate, he presented his certificates, they said the certificates belong to his younger brother, we are yet to see such a person, they came again with forensic report, it’s obvious the Sheriff project is God’s Own Project, so Sheriff remains our governorship candidate and will become our governor with our votes no matter how they try.
“The Primary Elections has come and gone, if there is anyone still aggrieved as a results of the outcome of the Primaries, Such a person should forgive us and we have also, forgiven those who insulted us as a result of the primary election, we are one big family and it’s important for us to be united and work together as a family” Onyeme added.
The Chairmen of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ndokwa East Chief Vincent Osilonya, Ndokwa West Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji and Ukwuani local government areas Chief Patrick Kaine in their Seperate remarks assured Members of Ndokwa Core Group and Deltans in general that the winning structure of the Party is still Intact.
