NYCN Announces 563 Delta Indigenes Shortlisted for Nigerian Army 91 RRI Screening
Asaba, Delta State — Monday, June 8, 2026
The Delta State Chapter of the (NYCN) has announced that a total of 563 indigenes of Delta State have been shortlisted for the Nigerian Army 91 Regular Recruits Intake (91 RRI) Screening Exercise.
According to the statement signed by Comr. Afiogho Aaron (TYoung), Director of Media of the NYCN Delta State Chapter, the screening exercise is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, June 9 to Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Cenotaph Complex, Asaba.
The Council urged all shortlisted candidates to immediately verify their names on the official shortlist and prepare all required documents, including original credentials and the National Identification Number (NIN) slip, ahead of the screening.
The NYCN further reassured candidates that the Delta State Government, led by Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, through the State Awareness Creation Committee on Youth Enlistment into Military and Paramilitary Services, has made arrangements to ensure a transparent, seamless, and hitch-free process throughout the exercise.
The statement emphasized that recruitment into the remains completely free of charge, warning applicants to avoid any form of financial inducement or individuals claiming to influence the process.
It also called on NYCN structures across local government areas and wards to support shortlisted candidates with guidance and necessary information to ensure successful participation.
Candidates were advised to remain disciplined, focused, and to strictly adhere to all guidelines issued by the Nigerian Army throughout the screening period.
The Council wished all shortlisted applicants success, urging them to represent Delta State with discipline, patriotism, and excellence.
