Rich General Presents “Ukodo” Song to Sheriff Junior, Declares Support for Oborevwori and APC Candidates

Udu born artiste, Rich General yesterday Monday, August 10, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to Sheriff Junior, popularly known as “Onowu,” son of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, where he officially presented his latest song, “Ukodo,” as part of efforts to use music to promote the developmental achievements of the state government.

During the visit, Rich General explained that the song was inspired by the developmental strides of Governor Oborevwori and his administration’s efforts to advance infrastructure, human capital development and other sectors of the state.

The artiste said the “Ukodo” song was intended to communicate the administration’s development agenda to a wider audience through music and entertainment.

Rich General also used the occasion to publicly declare his total support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He expressed confidence in the leadership of Governor Oborevwori, stressing that his decision to support the governor and the APC candidates was based on his assessment of the administration’s performance and developmental initiatives across Delta State.

The presentation of the song was described as an opportunity to further strengthen the connection between the creative industry and government, particularly in promoting positive narratives about development and governance.

Receiving the artiste, Sheriff Junior, popularly known as Onowu, appreciated Rich General for the gesture and for using his creative talent to highlight the administration’s developmental efforts.

He encouraged artistes and other stakeholders in the creative industry to continue using their platforms to promote messages capable of contributing positively to the development and unity of Delta State.
