Insecurity: Inoaghan Hands Over Siena Vehicles, Communication Gadgets To Vigilante Group

Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Executive Chairman of Sapele local government area on Thursday August 25th, 2022 handed over two Siena Vehicles with registration number SAP 48LG and SAP 49LG and several communication gadgets to Vigilante groups at the Sapele local government area Secretariat.

The council boss while handing over the vehicle keys to the Commadant, Commander Randy Jimishe of the Vigilante groups said that the vehicles will help to facilitate the movement of members of the group in curbing the security challenges facing the local government and enhance their crime fighting abilities.

Eugene Inoaghan in continuation said that the presentation of security vehicles and communication gadgets to the Vigilante groups was a symbolic representation of his administration’s commitment towards providing a safe environment for the people of Sapele.

The chairman, who said that apart from donating the vehicles and communication gadgets to ease the movement, and improve communication of the security personnels, his administration has also continued and will continue to support all the security agencies within the local government with other forms of logistics to ensure that the problem of insecurity is reduced to the utmost minimal.

Speaking accordingly, the council boss said that the vehicles is also to further motivate the vigilante groups for improved efficiency and effectiveness in the discharge of their duty in fighting crime.

Sapele will never be a safe haven for criminals. Our administration will remain unwavering in our commitment to ensure that lives and property are secured in Sapele local government area.

I thank His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta State for his continued support and assistance in taming security challenges in Delta State and Sapele local government area, he added.

Those who were present during the ceremony include Mr Robinson Tuetue, Mrs Okparavero Agnes, Mr Gabriel Egbeta, Okakuro Godwin Dadi, Alhaji Tanimu Adamu, Hon Felix Ayemidejor.

Others are Hon Richard Ogirien, Hon Francis Okpigben, Hon Jimmy Eta, Hon Igho Adibor, Hon Henry Apiyor and a host of other dignatries.
