Ayoma Faults Criticism of Dafinone’s Scaffolding and Rigging Empowerment Programme, Urges Youths to Appreciate Him.

The Coordinator of the Revolutionary Rt Hon Francis Ejiroghene Waive Third-Term Campaign for the Federal House of Representatives, Udu/Ughelli North and Udu/Ughelli South Federal Constituency, Chief Freeborn Ayoma, who is also the Otota of Iwhrekreka Community, has called on beneficiaries of the scaffolding and rigging training programme sponsored by Senator Ede Dafinone to appreciate the lawmaker’s efforts rather than engage in criticism and negative commentary.
Chief Ayoma made the call against the backdrop of sarcastic statements reportedly being made by some trainees who recently benefited from the scaffolding and rigging training programme and received starter packs under Senator Dafinone’s lifelong empowerment initiative.
Speaking on the development, Chief Ayoma described the programme as a commendable intervention aimed at equipping Delta youths with practical skills and tools needed to become self-reliant and economically productive.
According to him, the training and subsequent distribution of starter packs demonstrate Senator Dafinone’s commitment to youth development, job creation, and sustainable empowerment across Delta Central Senatorial District.
He noted that in a period when many young people are seeking opportunities for gainful employment and entrepreneurship, initiatives such as the scaffolding and rigging training programme should be encouraged and supported by beneficiaries and stakeholders alike.
Chief Ayoma expressed concern over what he described as a “pull-him-down syndrome” among some individuals who, instead of showing gratitude for the opportunity provided, have chosen to make sarcastic remarks about the empowerment programme.
He urged the beneficiaries to recognize the value of the skills acquired during the training and make productive use of the starter packs provided to them, stressing that the equipment could serve as a foundation for building successful careers in the oil and gas, construction, and related industries.
The community leader further commended Senator Dafinone for investing in human capital development and creating opportunities that can improve the livelihoods of young people in the district.
Chief Ayoma therefore appealed to beneficiaries of government and private-sector empowerment programmes to cultivate an attitude of appreciation and responsibility, emphasizing that meaningful development can only be achieved when opportunities are properly utilized and not ridiculed.
Ayoma added that he is appealing to the people of Delta Central, and especially the Udu/Ughelli North and South Federal Constituency, to come out fully and vote for Senator Ede Dafinone and the Waive movement come 2027, in order to ensure more effective benefits and continued development for the people.
He reaffirmed his support for initiatives that promote youth empowerment and economic growth, while encouraging Senator Dafinone to sustain his efforts towards improving the welfare and prospects of young people across Delta Central.
