Jite Gives Office Space To Public Complaints Commission As Igben Visits Him.

In response to his request for a modest take off of Public Complaints Commission office in Udu Local Council area of Delta State, The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and Delta State House of Assembly Candidate Udu Constituency, Hon.Chief Jite Brown (JP) has allocated an office space to Public Complaints Commission to enable people at the grassroot to benefit from the body. The Executive of Udu Local Government Council approved the office space yesterday Monday 01/08/22 when the Honourable Commissioner public complaints Commission, Hon. Harvest Igben and his team paid him a courtesy visit at Otor-Udu Headquarter of Udu Local Government Council. The Udu Council Boss while congratulating Hon. Igben on his well deserve appointment and for remembering his root, lauded him for working assiduously for the betterment of the general public especially Deltans.

On his part, Hon Igben while thanking Hon.Chief Jite for his prompt approval and his warm reception, revealed that the primary function of the Commission is to investigate complaints by members of the public concerning the administrative action of any public authority ( Federal/ State/ Local Governments) and companies or their officials and other related matters with the sole purpose of reducing and even eliminating all forms of administrative injustices in the system. Speaking further, Hon. Igben stated that the commission’s services are rendered free of charge to all and it is also easily accessible even at the grassroot as the commission has zonal offices in Agbor, Warri, Ughelli, Ogwashi- Uku, Oleh and Ozoro all of which are located in the respective Local Government Secretariat as the State Head office is situated at River Basin Crescent, opposite Prof. Chike Edozien Secretariat Asaba.

Going by documentary public records of the commission’s activities, the commission resolves an average of one thousand( 1000) cases yearly, thereby bringing joy to many lives across Delta State and beyond Hon Igben added.
