Ezewu, Oñoriode Sue For Partnership In Driving Education Sector To Enviable Height In Delta

Delta State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu has restated her commitments to collaborate with the State Commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Sunny Onoriode to drive the education system in the state to greater height .
Mrs. Ezewu stated this in Asaba when the commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Sunny Onoriode paid her familiarisation visit shortly after he assumed office as the Commissioner for Primary Education.
She said that as commissioners in Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education such synergy was essentially needed towards achieving more in the actualisation of the Stronger Delta mantra of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration, adding that the Commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Onoriode had been a great asset to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the state in general, even as she described him as consummate administrator.
Mrs. Ezewu, who congratulated Chief Onoriode on his appointment as Commissioner for Primary Education, urged all staff of Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to always accord the commissioner the needed support to enable him succeed.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Onoriode assured the staff of the Ministry that though his time was short , he would would contribute his quotas and add value to the Ministry .
Chief Onoriode, who urged the workforce of the Ministry to always support him in his avowed determination to contribute to the growth and development of the education system in the state, said that he would carry everybody along in the scheme of things.
He stressed the need for the staff of the Ministry to redouble their commitments to duties, saying that it was everybody’s responsibility to take the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to greater heights.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Ede Oghoro informed the commissioner for Primary Education that every staff of the Ministry would cooperate with him and give him the expected supports to enable him succeed in his assignments .
