Delta Govt, ALGON, Udu PDP leaders, Udu Council Boss Donate Food Items To Udu Flood Victims.

Succour recently came the way of flood victims in Udu Local Government Area as Delta State Government, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Delta State Chapter, Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Udu Chapter and Udu Local Government Council Boss and Delta State House of Assembly Candidate Udu Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Hon. Chief Jite Brown Donated relief materials worth millions of naira to 677 households affected and others whose farmlands were ravaged by the flood. Some of the Communities who benefited were: Emadadja, Ukperheren, Ukpiovwin, Okolor Waterside, Otor-Udu, Oghior, Ubogo, Egiegi, Ekrota, Obubu, Ayama and Epame. The relief materials distributed were: Gallons of groundnut oil, Palm oil, bags of rice, Garri, Beans, Tubers of Yams, Cartons of Noodles among others
Speaking during the presentation of the food items, Udu PDP Chairman Hon. Evangelist David Siloko, Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council Hon.Chief Jite Brown, Hon. Dr. Henry Sakpra, Commissioner for Special Duties Delta State and others emphatized with the affected flood victims for the challenges caused by it as they charged leaders of the affected Communities to make sure the items get to the victims.
On their part, Leader of Udu Legislative Arm Rt. Hon Emmanuel Owholo, President of Aladja Community Mr. Shell Godfirst okokutu thanked the donors for their magnanimity.
