Okuama: Oyibode hails Gov. Oborevwori, Delta Senators over release of Ewu monarch
Delta State Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Olorogun Vincent Oyibode, has congratulated the Ovie of Ewu kingdom HRM, Ovie Clement Ikolo for his release by the Nigeria Army, saying it’s a confirmation “you were truly innocent”.
The Commissioner, while appreciating the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Sen. Ede Dafinone the Senator representing Delta Central, Sen. Ned Nwoko the Senator representing Delta North and Sen. Thomas Joel-Onowakpor Senator representing Delta South for their relentless efforts in ensuring that the innocent Ewu king was released from detention.
Oyibode who was full of joy said the Governor and our Senators have demonstrated resilient spirit since the Okuama incident to make sure that the existing peace in the state was sustained.
He also appreciated the Nigeria Army for showing capacity in managing the suitation, while calling on youths to be law abiding and be resolute in their decisions that are towards ensuring sustainable development in the state.
