Delta Government to Relocate Artisans and Profile Illegal Immigrants at Koka and Surrounding Areas”
The Delta State government has commenced the registration of labourers and artisans in Asaba and its environs.
To this effect, every developer is expected to go to the Artisan’s Village, located at Oko in Oshimili South when they have a need for their services and only registered members with ID cards and vests are authorized to work in any site.
According to the Chairman, Delta State Taskforce Committee for the implementation and Enforcement of registration process for migrants, labourers and scavengers, Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP , any developer, contractor found engaging the illegal artisan in any unapproved locations such as Koka junction, Akpu Junction among others will be dealt with.
