Iteire Seeks Partnership With PFN On Development Of Isoko North
Isoko-North Council Chairman, Hon Christian Othuke Iteire, on Tuesday, said his administration would partner with the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN in offering essential democratic services to the people of Isoko North Government Area.
Iteire stated this on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his office in the Isoko North Council Secretariat in Ozoro when he received on Courtesy visit, the leadership of Isoko North chapter of PFN led by the chairman, Rev. Festus Odoko.
Acknowledging the significant roles of religious readers in the development of a society, the Isoko North Council Chairman commended the clerics for complementing the local government and urged them to sustain the selfless service they have been offering to the people of Isoko North.
He lauded the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria for harmonising, fostering peace and unity of not only amongst Christians but devotees of the Islamic faith in the Local Government Area.
While assuring of his administration’s continuous synergy with and support to the body of Pentecostal Christian churches, Hon Iteire, a Deacon thanked the leadership of PFN for the visit, and prayers, seek for more in order for him deliver on his mandate.
In his speech, the Isoko North Chapter chairman of PFN, Reverend Odoko said the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Council Chairman on his assumption of office and appreciate him for his efforts and support in ensuring the Christian body has a center of its own for its religious engagements in the Local Government Area.
Appealing for more support, Rev Odoko said the Christian community in Isoko North are happy having a devout Christian and a Deacon as Council Chairman, and promised of steadfast prayers on the Isoko North Local Government Council Chairman to deliver in his developmental agenda to the people of Isoko North.
Highlights of the clerics’ visit were a presentation of a copy of the Holy Bible and prayers of protection and progress offered on the chairman, Hon Iteire and the Local Government Council.
Present during the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria’s visit to the Council Chairman were the Secretary to the Local Government Council, Hon David Ejoor Igbuduma and the Supervisor for Works, Hon. Ikrumale Jones Oghogho.
