EKABO CONGRATULATES EWHERIDO ON APPOINTMENT
The Episcopal Vicar for Politics and Public Relations of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Very Rev Fr Dr Christopher Ekabo Jp+ has congratulated the newly appointed Bishop-Elect of Warri Diocese, His Lordship, Rt Rev Prof Anthony Ovayero Ewherido.
Ekabo who is the Parish Priest of St Matthias Catholic Church, Uzere described the meritorious appointment as well deserved and praised God for finding a priest from Ughelli South LGA worthy of the divine honour.
Ekabo thanked the head of the Roman Catholic Church’s College of Bishops, Pope Francis for the appointment and the Archbishop of Archdiocese of Benin and Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Archbishop Augustine Obiora Akubeze for providing excellent leadership.
Ekabo urged the priests and parishioners of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Warri to earnestly pray and support the new Bishop to succeed.
