Democracy Day speech from Ukodhiko to the constituents of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.

Today, we gather to celebrate our nation’s Democracy Day and the strides we’ve made together. As your representative at the Federal House of Representatives, I’m honored to address you on this significant day.

Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to the good people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency for the trust you have placed in me to serve as your voice at the National Assembly. It is a privilege I do not take lightly.

June 12 has become a symbol of democracy in Nigeria, and it has been institutionalized. It befittingly and aptly wears the toga of Democracy Day in our nation.

As we mark this year’s celebration, we must remember to also celebrate the supreme martyr and hero of our democracy, Chief MKO Abiola, who laid down his life for the survival of Nigeria’s democracy.

As we continue to develop, we must restate our hope and patriotism in our Constituency, our state, and our country, Nigeria. We must also reaffirm our commitment to unity, peace, social justice, and values that underpin our democracy.

We must encourage a pan-Nigerian temperament, and we must rededicate ourselves to nation-building as we put our Constituency, State, and Country on the glorious path of redemption and sustainable greatness.

Let us also remember that our work is far from over. We must continue to push for better representation, improved infrastructure, and sustainable development.

Thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we shall achieve greater heights for our constituency and our nation.

Happy Democracy Day!

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Long live Delta State!
Long live Isoko North and South Federal Constituency!

Rep. Ajirioghene Jonathan Ukodhiko
Member Representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
