ASIUWHU MEETS With ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICERS.

Chief Godspower Asiuwhu, the Honourable Commissioner Delta State Ministry Of Environment yesterday welcomed a courtesy visit by Environmental Health Officers at the Local Government Level.
The President Sanit Jeffery Obadaya said they have been working with the Ministry and they are happy for Honourable Commissioner’s appointment.
Speaking further, he said they hope to have some of their officers at the Local Government Level moved to State to enhance their productivity.
Responding, Chief Asiuwhu appreciated them for paying him a courtesy call.
He said, he could remember how the Environmental Officer carried out House to House inspection at the Local Government Area, making sure that the environment where clean and safe.
Further stated that modalities are in
place to reward the cleanest Local Government Area in the State.
He also informed them of the proposed committee that is been set up to promote the environment aesthetics.
He reiterated for team work at the Local Government level and promised to speak with the ALGON Chairman about the issues of monthly sanitation exercise .
Adding that the request of some Environmental Health Officers at the Local Government Area to move to the state, will be looked into.
