ASIUWHU CONGRATULATES GOV-ELECT, Oborevwori, LAUDS DELTANS FOR VOTING WISELY.

The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, has congratulated the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on his landslide victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election held on Saturday, 18th of March 2023, in Delta State.

Chief Asiuwhu has congratulated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly who doubles as the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP, on his landslide victory in the just concluded governorship elections held on Saturday 18th March 2023 in Delta State.

Chief Asiuwhu, extended his goodwill message to the governor elect in statement in a statement issued by his media director, Pst Williams Akpibere in Asaba, Delta State.

He said, Rt. Hon. Sheriff’s victory & his declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with 360,234 votes to defeat his closest contender Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the APC with 240,229 votes, as an act of God & vindication of the great strides of Sen. Dr Arthur ifeanyi Okowa led administration in Delta State.

Chief Asiuwhu who is popularly called – the Capacity ‘ & The Political Bishop by the governor elect, said that the outcome of the elections is a proof that Deltans as wise and can’t be cajole or swayed with just mare baseless blackmails & propaganda to vote against light & the brighter future of Delta State.

Also, he said that the outcome of the elections is a pointer that the Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of the PDP led administration has not failed Deltans, and thanked him for giving Deltans a Governor of their choice whom they trust, with capability of deliver on the mandate reposed on him.

With assurance , Asiuwhu said, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will consolidate on the strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s and shall perform to the satisfaction of Deltans”.

Besides, he urged all those who contest with him put the spirit of good sportsmanship to join hands with him to move Delta State forward, because at this point it should be about Deltans interest, and not about personal interest.

Finally, He wished Governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori God’s leading as he takes Delta State to the next level.
