Akuya Declares Candidacy for Ward 2 Councillor Seat, Pledges Effective Representation

In a significant move for the upcoming elections, former President General of Owhrode Community, Comrade Fidelis Akuya, has officially announced his candidacy for the Ward 2 Councillor seat. The ward comprises Owhrode, Ovwodokpokpo, and Erhiephiyor communities and falls under the banner of the PDP.
At a gathering hosted by Udu’s prominent leader, Honorable Chief Eddie Onosorhue, Akuya presented his candidacy to the leaders and executives of PDP Ward 2. In his declaration speech, he emphasized his dedication to the party’s interests and growth, promising to prioritize the development of the ward and the welfare of its residents. Akuya positioned himself as a grassroots politician committed to fostering community progress.
Representatives of the PDP in Ward 2, including Honorable Chief Eddie Onosorhue and Honorable Eki Afuevure, assured all aspirants of a fair playing field during the upcoming primaries. They emphasized that only one candidate would emerge as the ward’s councillor and urged participants to engage fully with their constituents in preparation.
