Delta 2023 : Okpe Union Ghana Congratulate Oborevwori

The Okpe Union Ghana has felicitated with the Delta State Governor-elect and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his election as the duly elected governor of the oil-rich Delta State.

The President of the Union and member of the PDP Ward 2, Umiaghwa Okpe, Olorogun Kingsley Aghworo, while congratulating the Governor-elect on what he described as a resounding victory, prayed God to give him the uncommon wisdom like that of the Bibilcal King Solomon to pilot the affairs of the state effectively.

Expressing gratitude to Deltans for the election of Rt Hon Oborevwori who is also the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Olorogun Kingsley Aghworo said that; ” This sweet victory is not only for the Okpe people, but a victory for all Deltans and lovers of democracy.

He implored the Governor-elect to listen to the people always and carry them along, saying that;” As a grassroot politician and a man with excessive local content, Street Credibility be in touch with the mass of the people who made your election as a governor possible. I know that you have the capacity and ability to make a good Governor, and therefore all eyes are on you. We expect the best from you because we know that you will not disappoint Deltans”.

“We pledge to support your administration to succeed because Deltans are safe under you and once again, Congratulations on your well deserved victory at the Saturday, March 18th, 2023, Governorship election”, he added.
