ASIUWHU CONGRATULATES NIGERIANS @ 62ND INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY : SAYS THERE IS HOPE THROUGH THE MISTY MOMENT
Delta State Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary and urged them to keep faith, and that the HOPE through this misty moment for a better & greater Nigeria is underway come 2023.
In a statement made available on Friday in Asaba through his media unit, he said that Nigeria is the only Nation we can call our own, and we owe ourselves a sense of responsibility to be proud & to uphold this day in high esteem in the history of Nigeria, considering all the griefs, pains, labours and sufferings of OUR HEROES PAST, went through to achieve us the long-awaited freedom, called independence.
Furthermore, he said that, despite the fact of our present state, and so much needs to be attended to, it doesn’t mean that nothing has been done, but rather it is a pointer that Nigeria is growing nation.
Thus, he encouraged Nigerians not to despair because of the current economic, security, power, and other challenges bedeviling the country at moment, but that we should be encouraged that storms always makes us stronger & he sees these storms ultimately coming to an end, with the light of a new beginning come 2023
Chief Asiuwhu admonished Nigerians to have faith in THE TICKET OF ATIKU/OKOWA RESCUE MISSION, if Nigerians really wants her hopes for a better Nigeria guaranteed.
In same vein, that if Deltans deserves a strong state with good fortunes for its citizens, then they should key-in to THE M. O. R. E AGENDA of RT. Hon. Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori Project as Delta State Governor come 2023, in order to consolidate on the gains of Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa administration.
Besides, he enjoined Deltans to keep their responsibility areas clean and urged those living in coastal areas and community prone to flooding to be on the alert.
