Urhobo Youths Felicitate With Urhobo Patriot, G.G Darah on his birth anniversary

The leadership of Ukoko Ighele Re’Urhobo known as UPU Youth Wing Worldwide led by Comrade Duru Ufuom has felicitated with our leader and father, Professor G. G Darah on his birth anniversary celebration.

On behalf of the entire Urhobo youth, Comrade Duru Nixon Ufuoma, extolled the great urhobo academia, a literary and poem doyen, describing him as a leader pan excellence, a unifier, a peace and bridge builder and above all a traditional icon who has demonstrated pioneering both political and social development of Urhobo nation, Delta State and Nigeria at large.

Daddy, you have done well, providing enormous knowledge and experience to build and develop urhobo youths worldwide both at home and abroad. You are indeed a great father to many children irrespective of ethnic boundaries.

Your huge wealth of knowledge and experience gave birth to Niger Delta resource control struggle of 13% derivation of the federal government to all Niger Delta States which was championed by former Governor, Chief James Onsnefe Ibori, you also initiated the technical framework documents that established Desopadec today in Delta State.

Even at your ageing stage, you joined other well meaning and respected regional leaders and stakeholders to form Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, which is led by our father and regional leader and elder statesman, Chief E. K Clark, to be a negotiating team with the federal government for the development of the Niger Delta region.

Sir, as you celebrate another blessed birth anniversary of your new age, may almighty God continues to bless and strengthen you, guide and protect you and grant you wisdom, long life and prosperity. Çongratultions sir.
