Onuesoke, Others Laud Jite For Demolition Of illegal Structures In Udu.

In his proactive measures at getting rid of Udu Local Government Council of illegal structures defacing the aesthetic beauty of the area, the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. (Chief) Jite Brown (JP) has been lauded by the Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Project monitoring, Chief Sunny Onuesoke and others. The former Delta State Governorship aspirant, Chief Onuesoke and others gave the commendation yesterday Saturday 29/01/22 while speaking with newsmen during the demolition exercise which lasted for several hours.
Speaking further, Chief Onuesoke who said that the exercise was a welcome development, affirmed that the proactive measures of the Udu Council Boss would send strong signals to land grabbers that it is no longer business as usual.
On his part the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Hon. (Chief) Jite who reiterated that the exercise would be a continuous one, frowned at those who built on Government land without getting approval. While assuring that there will be no sacred cows, advised Jigbale Market traders, Ubogo market and others not to trade by the roadsides.
During the exercise illegal structures were demolished at Police post Opposite Free Indeed Church Orhuwhorun/ Igbogidi Road, Mofor Motor park, Udu Market, Jigbale Market, Front of Ovwian Police Station among others.
