Ex-Agitators’ Leaders Celebrate Otuaro’s Appointment to APC 2027 Campaign Security Directorate

…says appointment reflects Tinubu’s confidence in N’Delta Leadership

The National President of the Ex-Agitators’ Leaders Forum, Chief Aroni Oputu, popularly known as General Aroni, has congratulated Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Presidential Amnesty Programme Coordinator, on his appointment as one of the six Directors of Security in the All Progressives Congress, APC, Campaign Council for the 2027 Presidential Election.

The APC Campaign Council list was released recently ahead of preparations for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement personally signed, Chief Oputu described Dr. Otuaro’s appointment as a “well-deserved recognition” of his capacity, experience, and commitment to peace, security, and youth development in the Niger Delta region.

He said the appointment of the Amnesty Boss into the sensitive security directorate of the ruling party’s campaign structure is strategic and timely, given his track record in managing stakeholders and sustaining peace in the region.

“We, the leadership of Ex-Agitators’ Leaders Forum nationwide, heartily congratulate our brother and leader, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, on this new national assignment,” Oputu stated.

“This appointment by the APC leadership and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu shows the level of confidence reposed in Dr. Otuaro. It is also a clear indication that the Niger Delta is central to the renewed agenda of the President and the APC.”

He expressed confidence that Otuaro will bring his experience in conflict management and grassroots mobilization to bear in ensuring a peaceful and successful 2027 election for the APC.

Chief Oputu noted that Dr. Otuaro’s role in the Presidential Amnesty Programme has brought stability and given hope to thousands of youths in the region. He expressed confidence that the PAP Coordinator will bring the same wealth of experience to bear in ensuring a peaceful, credible, and hitch-free 2027 election.

“We have no doubt that Dr. Otuaro will work with other members of the Security Directorate to deliver on the mandate of ensuring the APC records a resounding victory in 2027 while also promoting peace and inclusiveness,” he added.

The Ex-Agitators’ leader further urged stakeholders in the Niger Delta to support Dr. Otuaro in the new assignment, stressing that his elevation is a win for the region and for youth representation at the national level.

He prayed for God’s guidance, wisdom, and protection for Dr. Otuaro as he takes on the new responsibility.
