Maurice Ojoede Participates in House of Representatives 2026 Screening Committee Assignment
Dr. Maurice Ojoede has commenced his national assignment as a member of the House of Representatives Screening Committee for 2026, describing the responsibility as a call to service and dedication to the growth of the nation and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking after participating in the first day of the screening exercise, Dr. Ojoede expressed gratitude to the leadership of the APC for finding him worthy of the important national responsibility.
He noted that the assignment reflects his continued commitment to integrity, fairness, transparency, and service to the party and the Nigerian people.
According to him, the screening exercise is aimed at strengthening internal democratic processes within the party while ensuring credible and capable individuals emerge to contribute meaningfully to governance and national development.
Dr. Ojoede further reaffirmed his commitment to working with other members of the committee in promoting the ideals of good leadership, accountability, and progress for the benefit of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
He also appreciated party leaders and supporters for their confidence and encouragement, stressing that collective commitment and unity remain essential in building a stronger future for the country.
The APC chieftain maintained that he would continue to discharge his responsibilities diligently in line with the constitution of the party and the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
