Sapele Communities Cheer Oborevwori Over Akpoisi Road Reconstruction
By FactsReporters
Governor has again demonstrated his administration’s commitment to infrastructural development with the ongoing reconstruction of Akpoisi Road/Aganbi Avenue, including the link road connecting Ejele Street in Ugbeyiyi, Sapele.
The road project, which is currently progressing steadily, is aimed at improving transportation, easing movement within the community, and boosting socio-economic activities in the area.
As part of the construction process, drainage channels are presently being developed to ensure proper water flow and prevent flooding, especially during the rainy season.
Residents of the area have expressed satisfaction with the pace of work, noting that the project will bring long-awaited relief to motorists, traders, and pedestrians who have endured poor road conditions for years.
The reconstruction forms part of Governor Oborevwori’s broader agenda of delivering quality infrastructure across Delta State under his MORE Agenda, which prioritizes meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms, and enhanced peace and security.
Many residents have commended the governor for sustaining ongoing projects across the state, describing him as a leader committed to improving the living conditions of the people through impactful governance.
Stakeholders in the community also praised the administration for extending development projects to Sapele and other parts of the state, while expressing optimism that the road project would be completed within schedule.
