The People’s Democratic Party in Udu Federal Ward 03 comprising of Ogbe-Udu, Ukpiovwin, Okolor Inland, and Okolor Waterside Communities has commended the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa.
The Ward Chairman Chief Friday Akpokomuayen Orugbo commended the governor during the Ward Monthly General Meeting on 15th of September, 2021 at Okolor Waterside Community.
The meeting was presided over by the Ward Chairman, Chief Friday Akpokomuayen Orugbo with the party Local Government representatives, Ward leaders, members in attendance.
The Ward Chairman, Who spoke on vital issues affecting the party said the PDP ward 03 is happy with Governor Okowa.
He reiterated the need to improve on membership strength through the forthcoming e-membership registration of the party, PDP. He admonished all members to take full advantage of the opportunity to become fully registered members whenever the online registration commences.
In the same vein, Chief Friday Orugbo reminded the party of the ongoing Voters Card Registration at the Local Government Headquarters, Otor-Udu.
He stated that the voters’ card is vital to the progress of the party at the grassroots. Therefore, it is a must for every party member to be a registered voter, he added.
Also Speaking, the LGA Party Chairman, Hon. (Evang.) David Siloko JP, commended the leadership of the Ward for their consistency in holding Meetings as well as promoting the ruling party at the grassroots. Siloko tasked party Faithfuls to ensure they cease this opportunity to register for the Voters’ Card.
