Ukodhiko Celebrates Three Years in Office, Highlights Achievements, Promises Greater Development for Isoko Constituency
The Member representing Isoko North and Isoko South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has marked his third anniversary in office, expressing gratitude to constituents for their support while reaffirming his commitment to delivering greater development and effective representation.
In a statement commemorating three years of service, Rep. Ukodhiko described the journey since his election as engaging, demanding, and rewarding, noting that his administration has recorded significant achievements in various sectors through people-oriented programmes and legislative interventions.
According to the lawmaker, the past three years have witnessed the execution of constituency projects, educational support initiatives, youth, women and men empowerment programmes, skills acquisition schemes, healthcare interventions, infrastructural development efforts, and legislative engagements aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Isoko Nation.
He stated that every achievement recorded during the period was made possible through the support, encouragement, and confidence reposed in him by the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency.
While acknowledging the progress made, Ukodhiko emphasized that much work still remains to be done to meet the developmental aspirations of the constituency.
“Development is a continuous process, and our aspirations as a people remain greater than what has already been accomplished,” he said.
The federal lawmaker expressed appreciation to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth organizations, women’s groups, community leaders, political stakeholders, party faithful, and constituents for their unwavering support throughout his tenure.
Looking ahead, Ukodhiko said there is renewed hope for accelerated development in the constituency following assurances from the Federal Government regarding the release of funds for outstanding projects captured in the 2025 and 2026 national budgets.
He disclosed that numerous developmental projects and programmes attracted to the constituency are contained in the budgets and expressed optimism that they would receive the necessary financial backing for implementation.
The lawmaker also revealed that some of his legislative proposals are making steady progress at the National Assembly, with one of the bills currently awaiting concurrence from the Senate.
On the issue of the restoration of Isoko North State Constituency I, Ukodhiko stated that efforts by leaders and stakeholders to reverse its suppression by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are ongoing.
According to him, although the constituency initially lost its case at the Supreme Court, the restoration process is progressing, with the first hurdle already crossed.
He expressed confidence that the process would ultimately yield positive results for the people.
Ukodhiko assured constituents that he would continue engaging relevant ministries, departments, agencies, and commissions to ensure the execution of approved projects and programmes designed to improve the living conditions of the people.
Reaffirming his commitment to service, the lawmaker pledged to sustain efforts toward attracting more development, creating opportunities for youths, women and men, improving infrastructure, strengthening education and healthcare services, and enhancing the overall welfare of constituents.
He described the last three years as instructive, productive, and impactful, expressing confidence that the years ahead would bring even greater accomplishments for the constituency.
“As we mark our third anniversary, I reaffirm my pledge to continue serving with dedication, humility, transparency, and a genuine passion for the progress of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency,” he stated.
The lawmaker thanked constituents for their trust, prayers, support, and partnership, while praying for continued progress and prosperity for Isoko Nation, Delta State, and Nigeria.
