Toka Lauds Emergence of Jite Brown As Udu PDP House of Assembly Candidate

Chairman of Udu Concerned Citizens and Member, Board of Directors, Delta State Council for Arts and Culture, Chief James Toka, has lauded the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party House of Assembly primary election in Udu which returned Hon. Jite Brown as winner.

Toka in a press statement on Tuesday in Udu, Delta state, described the landslide victory as a confirmation of Chief Jite Brown’s popularity and acceptance by the leadership of the PDP in Udu.

The Orhuwhorun-born political tactician, noted that Brown is the longest serving Local Government Council Chairman in Udu which attest to the fact that he is a man of destiny.

According to him, “Jite Brown has a date with destiny and the opposition parties in Udu wouldn’t be able to stop him in the forthcoming general election because the Almighty God has ordained it.

“I urged the oppositions not to waste their votes on candidates that can’t take Udu to the next level of development. They should vote for the party Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Vice Presidential candidate, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Chief Jite Brown and other candidates of the PDP in the state”, he added.

He appealed to the people of Udu to join hands with Chief Jite Brown to build on the development strides of the current governor for the progress of Udu Local Government Area and the state in general.
