While maintaining that the service has also continued it’s review of activities and processes in the areas of Personal Income Tax in the self employed sector by intensifying the process of data gathering and profiling of newly identified tax agents for the purpose of bringing them into the tax net.
He frowned at the negligence of some head of stations and staff who show less or no concern on the needs to Improve the Internally generated revenue in the areas of self employed, he called for the October reports adding that the two least poorly performed Head of Stations may excused their position.
He expressed confidence that the Service will surpass the 2021 fiscal year revenue target adding that the Whistle blowing Mechanism, the recently Inaugurated Joint Tax Force to check revenue leakages from non renewal of expired vehicle particulars and drivers license has yielded good results when compared.
