JITE CONGRATULATES UPARAN AS NEW PRESIDENT-GENERAL OF UDU UNION

The Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Jite Brown, has congratulated the newly inaugurated President-General of the Union of Udu Communities(UUC), Chief Moses Uparan.
The council boss made this known through a press statement, signed by his Publicity Secretary, Henry Ubus, and made available to newsmen.
Jite described Uparan, who hails from Ovwian Community in Udu Local Government Area, as a man endowed with the wisdom of Solomon and capable of piloting Udu affairs in the next four years.
He stated that “Chief Uparan, a retired NNPC staff, is not new to unionism as he had bagged so many meritorious awards while he was a staff of the NNPC.”
“Uparan is a calm, humble, intelligent and also a philanthropist par excellence who has given scholarships to over 50 Udu’s son and daughters,” he added.
Uparan, according to Jite, is a community leader and a peace maker who is currently the Chairman of Udu’s Justice of Peace (JP), adding that his pedigree was good enough to deserve an opportunityto a take Udu to greater heights.
