Delta State Taskforce Ughelli Zone Sets the Bar High with Cleanup Initiative.

In a concerted effort to enhance the environmental quality of Ughelli, the Delta State Taskforce on Environment under the leadership of Olorogun Godspower Asiuwhu today Monday 15/04/24 executed a series of impactful activities Led by a commitment to fostering a congenial living space for all, the Ughelli Zone taskforce initiated various measures aimed at sustainable development and environmental preservation

Activities commenced with an extensive cleanup campaign targeting key areas prone to environmental degradation, streets, and public spaces. Equipped with necessary tools and resources, volunteers and taskforce members collaborated tirelessly to rid the community of litter and debris, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment.

Additionally, the Ughelli Zone taskforce, led by their supervisor, Hon. Prince Oniovoghare Ogheneare, orchestrated awareness programs and community engagement sessions. These initiatives were designed to educate residents about the significance of environmental conservation and effective waste management practices.

The day’s activities culminated in a collaborative effort to enforce environmental regulations and promote adherence to waste disposal guidelines. Through targeted inspections and enforcement measures, the taskforce seeks to uphold environmental standards and ensure compliance with regulations governing waste management and pollution control.
