Delta 2023 Guber Race: The Odds For Sheriff – Onyeme Ticket

As the time thickens, Political Pemutations is on the rise amongst the Gubernatorial Candidates of different Political Parties, who of the Delta State Governorship Candidate Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Sen Ovie Omo Agege, and the every 4yrs Guber Candidate Chief Great Ogboru stands the Chance of Winning the Delta State Governorship Election come 2023.

Analysing the realities on ground, no Political Analyst, Scientists can be accused of bias if he or she says that the odds undoubtedly will favour Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for Governor and Sir Monday Onyeme for Deputy Governor of the State.

This is not an election for Ughelli North , it’s an election where all the Candidates will face Deltans, hence widespread acceptability of the Candidates is required.

Let us first consider the Local Government Area of the Candidates, no doubt the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will seal Okpe LGA for the PDP, Oborevwori holds Okpe LGA solidly in his firm political grips.

Ughelli North the Local Government Area of the APC Guber Candidate Sen Ovie Omo Agege will always be a battle ground for the APC and PDP, though most PDP leaders will struggle to make their mark considering their Political Stands if they win the LGA for the Party or not but the tussle will be tough for the PDP and it won’t be easy for the PDP to seal.

The Ethiope East for Great Ogboru will be a field of contest knowing fully well that the commitment towards Great Ogboru’s project has faded compare to before and electorates loved the PDP more considering the Okowa’s visible projects in Ethiope East, same electorates will distance themselves from the APC for so many reasons and due to neglect of the Abraka -Agbor Road by the APC, how the Apc Gubernatorial Candidate betrayed their brother Great Ovedje Ogboru and the trickish Promise of Ethiope East Constituency II by the Apc Gubernatorial Candidate. The Delta State Government Presence in Ethiope East is quite commendable, hence the PDP will seal/Win Ethiope East with an unimaginable margin.

Delta Central comprising of (Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu, Uvwie, Okpe, Sapele, Ethiope East, Ethiope West) All the 8 Local Government Area in Delta Central are solidly PDP but with the current situation, no doubt, Uvwie will be a battle field for both the APC and PDP but Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will be the most beneficiary of the votes coming from Uvwie. Udu, Okpe, Sapele, Ughelli South, Ethiope East, Ethiope West will be seal by the PDP. Chief James Ibori’s factor viewing from various angles will throw is weight behind the PDP.

Delta South Comprising Warri South, Warri South West, Warri North, Bomadi, Burutu, Patani, Isoko North and Isoko South. It must be made clear that politics is not a game of sentiments. Most of those who participate in it are clear-headed individuals who do things pragmatically. That is why Sen Ovie Omo Agege’s wave in Ughelli North will not get to the boundaries of Isoko Nation, Isoko North and Isoko South are sealed for the PDP. Warri South, Warri South West, Warri North, the APC Members there are business men, hence the electorates in those LGA’s understands the language of PDP alone. Bomadi, Burutu, Patani will be sealed by the PDP. No doubts the outcome of the PDP Guber Primaries hurts some Party bigwigs but Sen Ovie Omo Agege cannot be their option, PDP still remains their choice.

The APC rely on the grievances of some PDP stakeholders as a results of the Gubernatorial Primaries but the recent shocker they received was when the Immediate Past Governor of the State His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan declared his stand for the PDP Candidates. Even those who are aggrieved knows clearly that Sen Ovie Omo Agege is not an option.

The Delta North Senatorial District: Oshimili South, Oshimili North, many factors are against the APC Senator in Delta North who the Party are relying on to mobilise for their guber candidate , the factors of criminal case and locked up has weaken the Political drive of even his followers. Considering the Impacts of the Okowa’s led administration in those areas, PDP will benefit largely from the votes of the electorates.

Aniocha North and Aniocha South where the Senatorial Candidate of the PDP came from Prince Ned Nwoko, the likes of Ndudi Elumelu and other PDP Political bigwigs, no doubt PDP will win massively. The likes of Victor Ochei an APC stalwart from Aniocha from his display of body language since he joined the Party dont like the Leadership of the APC Guber Candidate

Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Area, the home of the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor of Delta State Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. This areas has been carved to himself considering the enormous goodwill enjoyed by the People, its an area not to be included in the APC Political Calculation, its a landslide victory for the PDP.

The Ndokwa Nation Ndokwa West, Ndokwa East and Ukwuani Local Government Area, the Constituency of the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate and that of the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate.

Ndokwa West is the Local Government Area of the Delta PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate Sir Monday Onyeme, this is one of the Strongholds of the PDP, they owe Onyeme’s their massive and uncountable votes. Onyeme’s enormous goodwill, his hospitality and care for the People since he ventured into Politics will Speak volume. Ndokwa West should not be counted by the APC because it’s under the grips of the PDP.

Ndokwa East is the Local Government Area of the Delta State APC Deputy Governorship Candidate Hon Friday Osanebi, a man who serve as the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly. No doubts, Ndokwa East will be a battle field but the Structure of the PDP in Ndokwa East is well tighten and mature than that of the APC. It’s still on records that Onyeme’s benevolence can be traced in all the Wards in Ndokwa East. Those who owe Osanebi votes on the basis of Sympathy also owe Onyeme, Nnamdi Ezechi and the PDP their massive votes.

Ukwuani Local Government Area, a Local Government where PDP Political bigwigs also resides, let no one be deceived by the drama the APC has been acting, collecting Chieftancy titles they will be knocked in Ukwuani. Ukwuani Local Government Area is also the maternal home of Sir Monday Onyeme where is benevolence can also be traced in all the Wards. Ukwuani will reciprocate back the enormous goodwill and kindness they have enjoyed thus far with their massive votes
