The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor of Delta State on Political Affairs, Hon. Dr. Hope George JP, has stated that the achievement of Governor Ifeanyin Okowa will guarantee victory for all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in Delta State in the 2023 general elections.
He stated this when a pro PDP group, Strides Political Group a.k.a SPG paid him a courtesy visit in Government House Annex, Warri.
He also stated that PDP candidates would be fortunate to have enough to campaign with on the laudable achievements of Governor Okowa in the 2023 general elections.
George noted that Governor Okowa’s laudable achievements were reflected in all aspects of the state economy and across the State.
Hope George had declared that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was a Messiah , adding that the governor had changed the narratives of the State for good.
He had earlier commended the group members for believing in the PDP, noting that it was a wise decision to belong to the party.
He urged the group to sustain their support for Governor Okowa and the PDP and that they should be focused on their mission and vision.
Earlier in their separate speeches, Comrade Friday Iriferi and Pastor Oyibarho Benson, National Coordinator and Secretary of SPG respectively applauded Governor Okowa for his laudable achievements.
They stated that the only way to reciprocate Governor Okowa was to support him and that the governor’s choice in 2023 general elections would be their choice.
They also disclosed that one of the aims of the group was to win more members for the PDP and source for credible candidates for the party in 2023 general elections.
They further stated that one of the criteria for belonging to the group was having a permanent voters card (PVC) as they expressed hope that the 2023 general elections would be credible, adding that SPG was a non tribal group.
