De Legacy Sports Supporters Club Set To Officially Launch Delta Chapter in Warri July 2

The Delta State Chapter of De Legacy Sports Supporters Club will be formally inaugurated on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Warri, marking the official launch of the football supporters’ organisation in the state.

The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to commence at 4:00 p.m. at the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Warri, along NPA Expressway.

In a joint statement, the Chairman of the Delta State Chapter, Chief Chuks Leon Anyiam, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Chief Christian Bazunu, and the Publicity Secretary, Prince Adolor Ofori, announced that several prominent personalities and patrons of the club will grace the occasion as special guests of honour.

Among them are the Chairman, Board of Directors, Delta Broadcasting Service, Warri, Elegbete Moses Odibo; the Prime Minister of Obotebe Kingdom, Chief Tunde Smooth; and Hon. Daniel Yingi, former member representing Burutu Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Also expected are former member representing Uvwie, Okpe and Sapele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Oboro, and former President of the Itsekiri Youth Council, Barr. Esimaje Awani.

According to the statement, national officials of De Legacy Sports Supporters Club will preside over the inauguration and formally inaugurate the Delta State Chapter alongside its executive members.

The organisers appealed to football enthusiasts, supporters of the Super Eagles, and members of the public to attend the event and contribute to making the occasion a memorable one.
