Udu Kingdom Reaffirms Unity And Progress Under HRM Owhoru 1st
The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun (Hon). Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode JP, has again reaffirmed Udu Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to unity and progress. Acting on the directive of the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, HRM Barrister Bethel Delekpe, Owhoru 1st, the Chairman yesterday, Wednesday, 07/01/25, met with the Council of Chiefs at the monarch’s temporary palace in Aladja.
The high-level meeting, which brought together representatives from all seven houses of Udu Kingdom, centered on fostering peace, love, and togetherness among the people. Speaking at a press conference after the meeting, Olorogun Oyibode delivered a powerful speech underscoring the collective resolve of Udu Kingdom to remain united and focused on development.
Olorogun Oyibode emphasized that Udu Kingdom remains an indivisible entity under the distinguished leadership of HRM Owhoru 1st. He unequivocally condemned any divisive tendencies or secessionist agendas, declaring that such actions would neither be recognized nor tolerated. “For the purpose of record and documentation, today marks a significant moment in the history of Udu Kingdom. Under the wise leadership of His Royal Majesty, we have resolved to move forward as one, fostering peace, love, and togetherness,” Olorogun Oyibode declared. He noted the unity and harmony displayed by the Council of Chiefs during the meeting as a testament to the Kingdom’s strength. “The smiles and solidarity seen today reflect our shared commitment to progress and prosperity,” he added.
The Chairman urged all sons and daughters of Udu to rally around the traditional ruler and support initiatives promoting peace and development. He also appealed to media practitioners to champion positive narratives that inspire growth and harmony within the community. Olorogun Oyibode extended an open invitation to all indigenes of Udu Kingdom to gather at the temporary palace this Saturday for a historic ceremony. He described the event as a celebration of cultural pride, joy, and solidarity that will further strengthen the Kingdom’s bonds.
The meeting and subsequent press conference highlighted the exceptional leadership and vision of HRM Barrister Bethel Delekpe, Owhoru 1st, in steering Udu Kingdom toward unity and progress.
