Jite Applauds Governor Oborevwori’s Impressive Launch of Uvwie/Warri Flyover Projects.

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP), has commended Delta State Governor, His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for initiating the Uvwie/Warri flyover projects. Speaking to newsmen after the groundbreaking ceremony for three flyovers, cloverleaf, road expansion, and pedestrian bridges in Effurun and Warri today (27/11/23), Hon. Chief Jite praised the Governor’s decisive start.
Governor Oborevwori highlighted that the flyovers aim to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance vehicular flow in Effurun and Warri. He emphasized the transformative impact on the twin cities and predicted positive outcomes, including job creation and improved economic activities across the construction value chain. The State Executive Council approved the contract on September 12, with the signing ceremony occurring on October 18.
People from all walks of life attended the historic ceremony, showering praises on Governor Oborevwori, ranging from expressions of admiration by Deltans.
