The Party equally suffered a major setback in Eku, also in the Ethiope East Local Government Area of the State when some of its members decamped to the PDP.
Both decampees in Abraka and Eku promised to work for the victory of the PDP in the 2023 general elections. A former House of Assembly Candidate of the APC in 2015, Engr. O. Igbru was among those who decamped to PDP in Eku Ward 9.
