The Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of FactsReporters Online News and Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel, Comrade Henry Ubuvwerorose, popularly known as Henry Ubus, has felicitated with the Delta State Commissioner for Works, Rural Roads and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

In a congratulatory message published by FactsReporters Online News on Monday, September 7, 2026, Comrade Ubus described Aniagwu as a distinguished media professional, administrator and public servant whose career has been defined by competence, integrity, dedication and an unwavering commitment to service.

According to him, Aniagwu is a media magnate and a man of impeccable character who has consistently brought his wealth of experience, professionalism and administrative ingenuity to bear in the various positions he has occupied over the years.

Ubus noted that Aniagwu’s impressive public service career includes his tenure as Chief Press Secretary to former Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, where he played a significant role in the effective communication of government policies, programmes and achievements.

He further recalled that Aniagwu subsequently served as Commissioner for Information under the Okowa administration, where, according to Ubus, he demonstrated a strong understanding of strategic communication and the responsibilities associated with managing the information machinery of government.

The NUJ Ughelli Correspondents Chapel Secretary said Aniagwu’s continued relevance in public service was a testament to his capacity, experience and dedication, noting that he has remained an important asset to the Delta State Government.

He particularly commended the celebrant for his current role as Commissioner for Works, Rural Roads and Public Information under the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing his movement from information management to the critical infrastructure sector as evidence of the confidence reposed in his competence and versatility.

Ubus expressed optimism that Aniagwu would continue to deploy his experience and expertise toward the development of Delta State, particularly in the areas of road infrastructure, rural connectivity and effective public information management.
