2027: Tompolo’s PBAT And Sheriff Door-to-Door Movement Holds Stakeholders’ Meeting In Uwheru

The Tompolo’s PBAT and Sheriff Door-to-Door Movement, Uwheru Ward 9, has held a strategic grassroots mobilisation meeting with APC unit chairmen, ward party executives, and LGA leaders from the ward, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots support for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.

The meeting, which brought together key stakeholders and party leaders, focused on strengthening the movement’s grassroots structure and enhancing effective engagement with constituents across the ward.

The leadership of the Tompolo’s PBAT and Sheriff Door-to-Door Movement, Uwheru Ward 9, led by Comrade Yisah Peter, was joined by other critical stakeholders of the movement, including Comrade Sunny Utuedor, Comrade Ewini Famous Akpode, and Ambassador Prince Ruona Ujeyah.

The meeting was attended by the Uwheru APC Ward Chairman, Mr. Efemona Gideon; LGA APC Ex-Officio, Chief Correct Ubiomo; Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Community Development, Mr. Edafe Diadenaru; Uwheru APC Ward Vice Chairman, Mrs. Theresa Asarah; Assistant Woman Leader, Mrs. Rose Egboye; as well as other ward party leaders and members.

Speaking at the meeting, the Uwheru Ward 9 leader of the PBAT and Sheriff Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Yisah Peter, urged party leaders, unit chairmen, and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure that the movement maintains a strong presence across all 32 units in Uwheru Ward 9 and throughout Delta State.

According to him, the PBAT and Sheriff Door-to-Door Movement was established to strengthen communication and engagement between the political structure and the people at the grassroots, while creating greater awareness of the policies, programmes, and achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administrations.

Similarly, Comrade Sunny Utuedor and Ambassador Prince Ruona Ujeyah spoke in the same vein, calling for massive support for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC). They stressed the importance of sustained grassroots engagement in building a strong and effective political structure ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking further, the Uwheru Ward 9 Chairman, Mr. Efemona Gideon, urged unit chairmen, ward party leaders, and LGA executives from the ward to work effectively with stakeholders, youths, women, and other community groups to expand the movement’s outreach and mobilise broad-based support for all APC candidates.

He further admonished members of the movement to remain steadfast, dedicated, disciplined, and focused as they embark on their mobilisation campaign, emphasising that the success of the movement would depend largely on sustained, inclusive, and meaningful engagement with constituents at the grassroots.

The meeting underscored the growing political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, as political groups and support organisations continue to strengthen their presence across wards and communities, mobilise supporters, and build grassroots structures across units, wards, local government areas, states, and the country at large.
