The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Patani Local Government Area Chapter, Chief Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu, JP, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patani LGA to put aside differences arising from the recently concluded party primaries and unite for the progress of the party and the development of the local government.

In a statement issued on Friday, Chief Asiuwhu said the party primaries had come and gone, stressing that “the real work begins now.”

He urged all APC faithful, stakeholders, and supporters across the wards and communities of Patani to work together in strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to him, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves a second term in office, noting that his administration’s policies have strengthened governance by enabling states and local governments to function more effectively under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for what he described as purposeful and committed leadership since assuming office, urging Deltans to support the governor’s re-election bid to sustain ongoing development across the state.

Chief Asiuwhu appealed to all sons and daughters of Patani to embrace unity and collectively pursue the infrastructural and socio-economic development of the local government.

“We must align ourselves with the Renewed Hope vision. Let us mobilise, organise, and prepare to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027. By electing leaders who understand grassroots needs, we secure better roads, hospitals, jobs, and opportunities for our people,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors coordinator also commended all aspirants and delegates who participated in the APC primaries, describing their contributions as vital to strengthening democracy.

He emphasised that there should be no division within the party, regardless of the outcome of the primaries.

“There are no winners or losers. There is only one Patani and one APC in Patani Local Government Area. Let us set aside our differences, unite our structures, and work together for the good of our people,” he said.

Chief Asiuwhu further urged political leaders to prioritise the welfare of the people, noting that enduring leadership is built on the trust and support of the masses.

He concluded by praying for God’s wisdom, strength, and success for all party members as they work together towards a united APC and a more prosperous Patani Local Government Area.
