The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Pst. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, has been successfully screened and cleared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee ahead of the party’s House of Representatives primaries for the 2027 general elections.
The screening exercise was held in Abuja, where the committee chaired by Hon. Faraku A. Aliyu cleared Rep. Ukodhiko to seek a second term under the platform of the APC.
Rep. Ukodhiko’s successful screening has been described by party faithful and supporters as a testament to his loyalty to the APC, effective representation, and impactful performance since his election into the National Assembly.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, the federal lawmaker expressed appreciation to the leadership of the APC, members of the screening committee, party stakeholders, and supporters across Isoko North and South Federal Constituency for their confidence and continued support.
He reaffirmed his commitment to providing quality representation through people-oriented legislation, empowerment programmes, and developmental projects aimed at improving the lives of his constituents.
According to him, the support and encouragement received from party leaders and constituents have continued to inspire him to do more in service to the people, assuring that greater results would be achieved if re-elected in 2027.
Rep. Ukodhiko, who serves as Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology, further assured the people of the constituency of his determination to continue advancing their interests through effective lawmaking, infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment, and sustained grassroots engagement.
The lawmaker has continued to enjoy commendations from political stakeholders in the constituency for what they described as his visible achievements and active representation within two years and ten months in office, expressing optimism that his re-election bid would further consolidate ongoing developmental strides across the constituency.
The successful completion of the APC screening process marks another significant milestone in Rep. Ukodhiko’s journey toward seeking a renewed mandate from the people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
