Urhobo Youth Leaders Pay Tribute To Utuama
The Urhobo Youth Leaders’ Association (UYLA) has paid tribute to the late Prof Amos Agbe Utuama (SAN), former Deputy Governor of Delta State, describing his passing as a huge loss to the state. Utuama served Delta State diligently, first as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice from 1999 to 2007, and then as Deputy Governor from 2007 to 2015.
UYLA’s National President, Olorogun (Amb) Samuel Onoriode Oghotomo (JP), and National Secretary, Olorogun (Dr) Augustine Ogheneovo Atiti, praised Utuama’s loyalty and dedication to the state. UYLA noted that the vacuum left by Utuama’s sudden demise at 78 will be difficult to fill.
The association extended condolences to Utuama’s family, the Otughievwen Community, Ughievwen Kingdom, Ughelli South Local Government Area, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the people of Delta State. May the gentle soul of Prof Utuama rest in peace.
