UPU Northern California awards scholarships to DELSU students, May 22
The Urhobo Progressive Union of Northern California (UPUNC) has finalised arrangements to award scholarships to six deserving students of Urhobo origin in Delta State University, Abraka.
The brief ceremony According to Dr. Moses Darah will feature Ema Cultural Dance is scheduled to hold today, Monday, 22nd May, 2023 at the Dean’s Conference Room, Faculty of Education, Site III by 11:00am.
According to a statement by the Chairperson of UPUNC Scholarship Awards Committee, Chief Emuesiri Gbogeren, “the six awardees are DELSU students of Urhobo origin in 200 level and above studying Medicine, Agricultural Sciences and Urhobo Language Studies”.
The Vice Chancellor of DELSU, Abraka, Prof Andy Ogochukwu Egwunyenga is the Chief Host while the Dean of Education, Prof (Mrs) Florence Ngozi Ugoji is the Host.
