Udu, Delta State – The atmosphere was charged with hope and gratitude as the Udu PDP Campaign Council gathered for a thanksgiving service at Jesus Awesome Assembly Orhuwhorun Road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. The service, marked by a harmonious blend of spiritual encouragement and political dedication, featured an impactful sermon by Pastor Chuks Uneke and a heartfelt testimony by the Udu PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode.

Pastor Chuks Uneke’s Inspiring Message

Delivering his sermon titled “Carriers of the Glory,” Pastor Chuks Uneke emphasized that true glory cannot be bought but is a gift from God. He defined glory as the presence of God in one’s life, referencing 2 Corinthians 4:17 to underline his message. Pastor Uneke assured the congregation that any lost glory would be restored in Udu, urging everyone to live righteously.

He specifically advised the congregation to avoid pride, dishonesty, and harmful actions such as backbiting, wicked imaginations, mischief, false testimony, and sowing discord among brethren. His message was clear: the presence of God and His glory in one’s life requires a commitment to righteous living and integrity.

Oyibode’s Testimony and Vision for Udu

In a related address, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, the Udu PDP Chairmanship Candidate, shared a testimony of gratitude and dedication. He expressed his thanks to God for a peaceful campaign across the 20 DSIEC wards, noting that Udu had never experienced such smooth proceedings before. The announcement of his candidacy was met with widespread celebration, even among opposition parties.

Oyibode took the opportunity to appreciate the tireless efforts of the Udu PDP Campaign Council, who worked diligently to ensure the success of the ward-to-ward campaign. He dedicated Udu to God and expressed his gratitude to the 20 Chairmanship aspirants for their unwavering support.

Highlighting the pivotal role of women in politics, he pledged to involve them actively in his administration.
