Nigeria@61: Let’s Keep Hope Alive, Onyeme Urges Nigerians
The Stalwart and Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Ndokwa Nation who doubles as the Executive Chairman, Delta State Internal Revenue Service Sir Monday John Onyeme has urged Nigerians to keep hope alive as the nation celebrates its 61st independence anniversary.
Onyeme in a statement today Friday 1/10/21 revealed that Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, is blessed with abundant natural resources. But it has yet to meet the aspirations of its population and compete economically on the global stage
According to him, the government at the centre must re-strategies and develop policies and realistic strategies that will boost the economy of the nation adding that the Insecurity challenges has caused more harm to Nigerians, hence, the government needs to do all they can to put an end to this challenges
He bemoaned the social, economic, and security challenges that have confronted the nation over the years but urged Nigerians to continue to work for the unity, stability, and progress of our nation.
“Let’s continue to pray God directs our noble course, guide our leaders right and the followers the truth to know too. A great nation is only achievable when we are united and not fanning ember of disunity.” Onyeme added.
While Congratulating Nigerians on the 61st anniversary of the country’s Independence, Onyeme noted that making Nigeria better is more than wishful thinking, we must walk the talk and focus more on things that unite us.
