Massive Endorsement as Uwheru Youths Host Ese Agbobore, Back 2027 Ambition

The political landscape in Ughelli Constituency II is already heating up as Youths in Uwheru community, in Ughelli North Local Government Area, have pledged 100% support for Ese Agbobore’s candidacy for the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) Ughelli North Constituency II in the 2027 general elections.

The declaration of support came during a highly symbolic and spirited gathering, when the Uwheru youth community formally hosted Mr. Agbobore at their annual feast. The event, which drew scores of young people from across the community, served as a platform to signal a generational shift in the constituency’s political representation.

Speaking on behalf of the youths, the Uwheru APC ward 9 Publicity secretary, Akpomerha Atavwowhe, promised to mobilize Uwheru youth for Ese Agbobore in the forthcoming general elections.

They further urged him to consult widely with leaders for so that he can become the APC flag bearer saying; “We are solidly with you and we are ready to follow you to any of your consultations and any campaign”

“Just put us in your political structure. We are fully behind you 100% and wish reaffirm that we back you on the quest to serve our constituency; and you are our choice. And It is now time for youth to take over governance; and the kind of youth we want to represent us is your kind of person.”

The endorsement from the Uwheru youth bloc is seen as a major political asset, given the kingdom’s strategic importance as a voting stronghold within the constituency. Observers believe that the early show of solidarity could reshape the calculus of the 2027 race, particularly as young voters increasingly demand a larger voice in governance.

Supporters said that Ese Agbobore, who is widely regarded as a vibrant and capable leader, used the occasion to listen to the concerns of the youth and outline his vision for constituency development.

As the 2027 election cycle begins to take shape, the Uwheru youth have sent a clear and unequivocal message: they are ready to march, organize, and campaign for their chosen representative.
