Jite Swear In Supervisory Councillors, Urge Them To Be Diligent In Their Conducts.

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Jite Brown (JP), today, Tuesday 25th April, sworn in five Supervisory Councillors into his cabinet as he charged them to be diligent in their conducts.

The Aberen of Udu Kingdom urged the supervisors to embrace the concept of team leadership and collective responsibility.

He further encouraged them to always place the interest of Udu people and the council above all other considerations and to draw closer to the people at the grassroots.

“I want to appreciate my leader and mentor, the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Authur Okowa for the opportunity to serve, which I am also extending to my people.

“I will continue to be grateful to the governor for his fatherly role and advice because, I was once an SSA under him, but now I’m a Council Chairman. May God continue to bless him.”

Chief Jite also prayed God to bless the Delta State Governor Elect, Rt.Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, affirming that the Ukodo of Okpe Kingdom will surely consolidate on the developmental strides of Governor Okowa.

Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn in supervisory councillors, Hon. Agberia Oghoifo, Supervisory Councillor for Finance thanked the Executive Chairman for the opportunity given them to serve, assuring that they will be dutiful and loyal to the government as well as offer quality service to the Udu people.

The newly sworn in Supervisory Councillors include: Hon. Agberia Oghoifo, Supervisory Councillor for Finance; Hon. Lucky Jitokun, Works; Hon. Theresa Okotete, Agriculture; Hon. Bukata Voke, Environment; and Hon. Faith Otiri, Education and sports Development.

Present at the swearing in ceremony were: Hon. Barrister Mrs. Eloho Awinoron Vice Chairman Udu Local Government Council, Hon Samuel Dawho, SLG Udu LGC, Udu Local Government HPM Mr. Mudiaga, Hon Eki Afure, LEA Secretary Udu LGC, Hon. Benjamin Sharta Executive Assistant to Governor Okowa, Mrs. Josephine Apah Ward 10 PDP Woman Leader, Hon. Henry Apunu, Mr. William Saiki, PDP Chairman Ward 7, Mrs. Okpobrisi Roseline, Mrs. Ufuoma Ajuwa, among others.
