Godwin Ogorugba: Celebrating A Political Aficionado
By Nelson Egware
Great leaders are not always born they are also made, the case of Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Isoko North Chapter and Chairman Delta State Land Allocations Committee, is a perfect example of leaders being made. He grew from the ranks and understands perfectly the place of numbers in politics and can be aptly described as an “Awhotu” someone who is always gathering people around him.
A man with the midas touch, Prince Ogorugba has a cautious mien and has the God-given ability to make the most out of any obscure situation. A very amiable, sagacious and benevolent leader, Prince Ogorugba has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the PDP in Isoko North and Delta State.
A great family man and a friend to all shades of people, his philanthropy is second to none, he has used his position to build and develop youths across divides. Like or hate him, Ogorugba is resilient, dogged and ever committed to causes he believes in. He is God-fearing and an ordained Deacon of the Living Faith Church worldwide. Without a doubt, Ogorugba is a good man who has the interest of his party and the people at heart.
As he is being celebrated all over today in Isoko and Delta as one of the most political tacticians of our time, it is my pleasure to on behalf of my family and the retinue of friends he has contributed immensely in making politically, to wish him well in good health, greater wisdom, higher promotion in politics and prosperity and above all, many happy returns on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Happy birthday and congratulations great leader!
