Egwunyenga Admonishes Staff To Promote More Agenda.”
The Delta State Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer (CJWCO) , Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, has emphasized the need for realistic reforms in the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau in order to promote the MORE agenda of the present administration.
Comrade Egwunyenga made the remark during his maiden meeting with staff of the Bureau in his office today.
He pointed out that the expectations from Deltans are high and as such, there would be the need to rejig the process and to think outside the box for a more impactful result.
“The expectations are very high. There will be a lot of rejiging, a lot of thinking out the box, and the need to do things unusual because there is a precedence. Of course, society wants more,” he ethused.
He said that for the Bureau to perform exceptionally well, more opportunities needed to be created to build a community of entrepreneurs in line with the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
While stressing the state government’s resolve to keep Deltans meaningfully engaged, Comrade Egwunyenga advised staff to do things differently in order to keep Deltans excited and interested in the job creation programmes.
He further solicited for the support and cooperation of every staff in order to move the Bureau forward and help it achieve its set goals.
Responding, the Coordinator of the Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP,) Dr. Onyeisi Nkenchor, expressed gratitude over Comrade Egwunyenga’s appointment and pledged every member of staff’s commitment and support to ensure the success of his tenure as the CJWCO.
According to Dr Onyeisi, ” all civil servants in the Job Creation Bureau are disciplined, committed and have proven themselves worthy to take up any task given to them. The cooperation given to your predecessor will be extended to you to promote the MORE agenda.”
